I'm Hanna and apparently I like photos just a little bit too much.
I started Booking in Heels back in May 2011 as a way to feel productive despite having to leave my job because of CFS/ME and Lupus. I didn't foresee just how addictive book blogging would be or how many new friends I'd find (the human kind as well as the book kind!) but I adore it regardless.
I chose the name because an acquantaince once told me that women were either 'the bookish type' or 'the shoes type' and I've resented him ever since. Books have been my life since a ridiculously early age and I've lived in heels and dresses daily since at least my mid-teens. Hence Booking In Heels - because I don't have to choose.
Books aside, I'm a 23 year old girl who lives half in Bradford and half in Sheffield. I obtained my Law Degree in Sheffield last year and next year I hope to study the Bar in Leeds. Since I'll have to dye my hair a respectable grown-up colour then, I'm making the most of it now by dyeing my hair on a whim. I love it, but not quite as much as the little girls that shout excitedly to their parents about my pink hair.
I worked in a GAME shop until just a few months ago, which is how I met my boyfriend, so I'm quite into gaming too. I know - books, shoes and games... how dare I even be alive?
